Why on earth would any rational immigration policy discriminate against immigrants with Ph.D.s in favor of unskilled, non-English-speaking immigrants?
Say, don't Ph.D.s and other skilled workers have more influence on government policy than unskilled workers? Aren't they more likely to bend a president's ear? Yes, I believe they are! Noticeably, the biggest proponents of the government's policy of importing a huge underclass of unskilled workers are not themselves unskilled workers.
Boy, some of you can't take satire
”I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled ...”
She's the right wing equivalent of Rosie O'Donnell.
She hurts her causes by overstating them sometimes, but it's hard not to like her.
Her talent is preaching to the choir. When I agree with her, her columns are lots of fun to read; when I don't, they're infuriating. In both cases she uses rhetoric and sarcasm, not logic, so she isn't going to persuade anyone of anything. She's the right wing equivalent of Rosie O'Donnell.
