The faces of THR

Finally found a couple pictures, but I need the basic 101 course in how to post them. Help?!! Both my sons know how to do this, but they're not here right now. If you decide to instruct they would tell you, "Go slow. Daddy will get it. You just have to give him time."

Picture Posting 101 ;)
1 - Click the "Go Advanced" button below
2 - Scroll down to the "Manage Attachments" button
3 - Click the "Browse" button
4 - Find the file on your computer you want to attach (I can't help you here...but "My Documents > My pictures" is a good bet) and select it
5 - The file gets listed in the ("Current Attachments" area of the dialog box
6 - Click "Close This Window"
7 - Click "Submit Reply"

looks like this...

Edit: I've just been reading through the previous stuff and see that beards and guns are in demand. Ok, here's mine:

Here's a picture of me, the wife and our two sons. It's a shot from the oldest son's Coast Guard basic graduation. I hope I get this posted correctly. .......Sorry, the file is too large.

Brassman,

Try http://photobucket.com/.

All you have to do is create a free account, then start uploading your photos. Once your pictures are uploaded, all you have to do is single left click the "IMG Code" link below your uploaded picture (copies the link automatically) and paste it into your THR "Reply to Thread" window.

It's a snap. :)

BTW, when you upload, select the 640 X 480 size to get pictures of this size when you post:

jad0110 that is one very fine photo and it makes me all warm and fuzzy to see those wheel guns so nicely cared for. Deep down I still have a great love for revolvers. I won't even say anything about how this thread started out to be about the members' faces not their hardware, but seeing these beautiful pistols ruined that slap on the wrist for you. <chuckle>

Brassman, I sent you a PM. PM me back if you have questions.

:D

Yeah, I know it this thread is about faces, but I couldn't help myself! And thank you for the compliment, I do my best to care for them (S&W Model 14 and 17, FYI).

To make up for my transgressions , here's another picture of my son and I:

And what the heck, here are the two weirdos in my family. As you can see, one of them is a big, lazy slob :D :p ...

Here are a couple of pics of me. The first is me playing guitar, and the second is my nephew showing me proper shooting techniques.

With a lot of help from 3 other people, here's my next try at posting those photos. The first shot is of my wife, younger son, older son (in uniform), and me at the older son's basic graduation in Feb. 2005. The next shot has younger son missing from the frame. I'll try to make these larger in the morning so folk's won't need a magnifying glass to see them. At least I got them copied and sent. That's a start, and thanks to those who have helped me get this far.

Just want to share another great thing about this thread. A friend from college who I have not seen in years is member on THR and recognized my pics and we got back in touch. Great thread.

Since I started the thread, that actually makes me feel pretty good!

Uh yeah, they pay me to drive around in a fireboat (sometimes).

OK, maybe it was a few years ago. Maybe I was a few pounds lighter. Maybe I didn't have my protective eyewear on.

But I was having a pretty good time.
