My most expensive gun is a Blaser R-93 Offroad Tracker in 308 scoped with a Swarovski 3-9. I have about $3000 in the "package", but to replace it would cost $4000+/-.

F. W. Heym HR-38 Deluxe in .30-'06 with Zeiss 2.5-10x50 Diavari glass.

While not so pricey as a Purdey "best gun", if I reveal the cost you'll know that there are days when my mind just ain't right. ;)

Current value, hard to figure right now, What I paid. A 1910 Parker GH $4000. a 28 ga Darne R 15, got 3700 in that one a new replacement would currently run around 12,000. Rifles, A Browning BPCR, hi grade Winchester 95 repro in 405. , My custom Colt AR 15.

Sorry for double post, computer acted funny made me wai!!

About neck and neck between my Dan Wesson Pointman 1911, 45 and my High Standard Supermatic Citation model 102, 8" barrel.

My STG 58 FAL. It cost me about $1100 with sales tax and everything. If you look at my list, it cost as much as all my other firearms put together and then some.

The most I ever paid for a semi-auto rifle was $13k (PSG1). The most I've paid for a machinegun is $16k (MP5SD). The most I've paid for a handgun, I think, are my Ed Browns ($2,300).

My most expensive purchase was an Auto Ordnance TM1
Thompson Semi-auto Carbine for $750.00 to match a
Auto Ordnance .45 pistol with the Thompson bullet logo.

hmmmm

A Colt Peacemaker in .45LC made in 1901 in NM condition
1880 Borschardt-Sharps Military rifle

Formerly owned... sold to buy a house
MP5SD
1927 Thompson.

Colt Python, blued, 4" barrel - $900+ (Followed closely by a near-pristine SAFN-49 in .30-06 caliber.)

I don't like thinking about the total amount I spent on it. It was a lot. I like thinking about what a beautiful experience it is to shoot it, and how it'll be around for as long as I take care of it.

Valtro... basing this not on purchase price but current value based on what I hear they are going for currently (link to CalGuns for sale post...)

Kicking myself for not buying the other Valtro that was for sale the day I bought this one NIB ($1300!!!).

Hard to believe it is worth more than the tuned M1A (Single Lug Springfield w/all TRW parts + Kreiger 1-10 + bedded in devcon in a McMillan stock by Hook Boutin. No matter- I'll never sell either!!! :)

My SBS'd Stoeger 12ga. I paid $300 plus tax then paid $200 for the NFA registration. $500 by far beats all my other guns out.

The cost I paid? As in the money I gave or what I told my wife I paid?
