I just got a Grade A PSP through the shop my dad works at for $675. It's in great condition, but only came with 1 mag. I'd like to get a few more mags if I can find them anywhere at a reasonable price (say, less than $50).

I picked a B grade P7 PSP yesterday here locally. I paid $699 for it, which seems to be the retail. I know that I could have bought it cheaper online (not so much cheaper with shipping and transfer fee) but I wanted to inspect it first having a few to choose from. There is some holster wear but a quick touch-up took care of that. Otherwise the gun is cosmetically very nice.

The internals on the gun looks virgin, hardly shot at all. It could pass for new. There are no signs of wear whatsoever. I was stunned when I opened it up. This gun was carried but hardly shot. I picked up two extra mags at $45 each.

I already see the price on these going up at the auction sites.

Just picked up two B graded from CDNN, that makes 4 PSP's, the other two are C grades.

Been carrying one of the C grades for about three weeks now. The others have been tucked safely away in the safe.

Got the two B grades from CDNN for 599.25 plus shipping just his week. I'll carry the PSP through the summer months and then return to the G17 when it cools down some out here.

My dad's shop ordered a dozen of the Grade A's, and sold all of them in just three days. By the second day, when they were down to two left, they called to order more and were told it was too late -- the Grade A's were all gone, and just a few B's were left.

I picked up a grade B last week. Carried alot shot little seems to be the norm for the B grade. at 699 retail these will be gone quick and im sure prices will start going back up as well as the price of the mags.

I am not buying any gun that is out of production and uses $40+ magazines. Magazine availability in 10 yrs will be terrible.

Thats why you buy enough magazines when you buy the gun while they are available sir. Whats enough? I'd think 10-12 would suffice a lifetime or two.

Out of production ceases to be a viable weapon to carry? 40+$ mags are not expensive really, hell when the ban was on last time around, I bought glock 30 round mags for 150.00, now I can get them for 40, sounds cheap now doesn't it?:D

It's perception in how one looks at what they have to do to carry a firearm of their choice. As I never buy any gun without at least acquiring 10-12 mags, or more;), I don't see the problem with mags being available in the future, at least not my lifetime.

Oh ya, they'll never be worth less in 5-10 years and will in all liklihood be a solid investment in the retirement funds. In the meantime, I get to carry, and enjoy the benefits of this weapons ergos, accuracy, dependability and functionality.

You have a point about the mags. Buy them now.

Think about the HK P9s in 45ACP. All the HK 45 P9 mags will break at the lips. They are $90+ if you can find any. :cuss:

I'm not worried about mag availability. Sure, prices are high right now, but that's because no one is making them. If prices stay at $40+, that will change quickly, especially since demand will certainly increase with all the trade-in P7's that have hit the market recently. Some companies will almost certainly start making them, and prices will be less than original HK mags.
