Fred Thompson and candor. From an editor at the extremely left wing, fanatically pro-Ron Paul National Review.

Thompson's Possible Pro-Abortion Lobbying [Ramesh Ponnuru]

Geraghty weighs the evidence. I'm not sure who to believe. But there's no question that Thompson has moved on abortion—he wasn't pro-life at the start of his political career—and he is doing himself no favors by failing to acknowledge it.

Won't it be AWESOME when those !@#holes Fred and Ron lose for not being Republican enough?

We can all laugh about it, and how stupid people were to vote for them, when everyone smart knew Hillary was going to win.

Won't you feel so GOOD when Ron Paul loses to Hillary? You can tell everyone, "I told you so! And that freak isn't president! YAY!"

Isn't that what EVERY good gun owners wants?

Perfect

I think Al Sharpton and Zel Miller would be the perfect duo since both a bat crap nuts!

After Lil' Bush and his crew, we need a good laugh.

Texas, you asked

Which of Dr. Paul's positions do you find nutty?

Yesterday I asked
Tell me what you do not like about Ron Pauls stance on gun rights or the Constitution in general?

C'mon Tucker, you are making some seriously un highroad accusations here, you called us Democrats, you are calling our candidate nutty, yet it seems, that you can't name one thing other than "he is unelectable". I think the fact that you won't answer the question and have resorted to name calling shows everyone on this board your level of maturity and debating skills.

How many guns do YOU own and what is your agenda?

For what it's worth...

I am an American

I am an adopted Texan

Yes, I own guns

I am a certified firearms instructor and range safety officer

I am a life member of the GOA and NRA

I value honesty, honor, and integrity

I have supported Ron Paul for over a decade

I do not trust Fred Thompson

I believe Fred Thompson will say whatever it takes to get elected

I have requested GOA publish Fred's gun rights voting record

The Democrat record on gun control speaks for itself. They got whupped in 94 so now they will try lying to get elected and then let the hammer fall when they get in. They cannot be trusted.

I'm not debating anyone. I'm warning any fence sitters to never vote for a Democrat.

Not fluff. Just a refusal. I view most RP supporters to be Democrats who have no intentions of voting for him anyway. They would love to see him run in order to split the Republican vote, much like Nader did to the dems, so as HRC or Osama gets in the white house. Democrats are not to be trusted.

Gee I am not a Democrat. Nor have I ever voted for one. But say in the unlikely event it comes down to Thompson and Richardson I will vote for Richardson. He is more pro freedom.

But I think it more likely that I would get the nomination before Richardson.

It dosen't really matter anyway. IMO Thompson will get his clock cleaned by any dem running. I would be surprised if he cleared 100 electoral votes.

Please go away, learn the difference between a primary and a general election, and come back when you're able to comment usefully on this discussion.

Since it's not your thread, I'll do as I please.

This is not DemocratUnderground and you can't go crying to Skimmer to get me banned.

I view most RP supporters to be Democrats who have no intentions of voting for him anyway.

And I view most Thompson supporters to be star struck groupies whose real interest is to have a sexy looking first lady. See anyone can make up inane reasons for why folks support a certain candidate.

That's an extraordinary statement. I don't think I've ever heard that before and I've heard some pretty absurd explanations about Dennis Kucinich.

Wow. Liking the only actual Republican in the race makes me a Democrat.

Remember: A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Hillary, a vote for Thompson is a vote for Kucinich, and vote for Hillary is a vote for Jesus.

Or something like that.

This thread just got too stupid to bother with. Later.
