If it is a flat top A3 set up, then high usually works well. I have mediums and a Yankee Hill 1/2" rides on my mid length, and it works fine.

As suggested already, your best option is the LaRue Tactical scope SPR mount. They go for roughly $200 If you don't want to spend that much look at the Armalite 1pc mount which goes for $90 (but you should lap the rings).

I have been happy with my Wilson Combat 1" Scope Mount. It is one piece and built like a tank, but at a lower cost than the LaRue Tactical. At 3x zoom, you can almost see the front sight, so if you are looking at a lower magnification, you may want to get a higher mount. See here.

The Larue will hold zero if removed and remounted.

The lowers cost mounts won't.

Check and make sure the Warne rings will put the scope far enough forward to work properly. On a higher magnification scope, standard rings and bases don't always put the scope where you need it.

This is one of my scopes in the Larue mount. Some of the bigger scopes need to be mounted pretty far forward.



The Larue will put the scope at the right height and far enough forward to work right. I'm not a schill for Larue. But there are a lot of guys that spend a lot of money on rings, bases etc and end up getting a Larue mount later.

Mark LaRue makes some of the most robust, well engineered and well made scope mounts on the planet. He's also accessible - noting like making a call with a question and getting the mastermind on the phone - try that at ARMS.

Everything LaRue makes is pricey, but functional and so well made it will outlast the rifle you put it on and you as well. Some things are worth the money - LaRue rings and mounts are one of those things....
