need a new scope

You didn't say what power or lens you already have and what to change to. I'm a big fan of Nikon scopes if you are going to spend more than $100 and move up from Tasco, Bushnell or Simmons. The Nikon ProStaff line are very high quality scopes that can be found for under $200 and will rival scopes which cost two and three times that.

When you tell us what is on there now and what you are looking for we might be able to give you more choices. We also need to know what you budget is.

Holy moly...that's a poweful scope for a 22lr. Can you see the fiber in the targets with it? Anyway it's a nice scope/good choice - Enjoy!

Hey, I believe that there is nothing that is too powerful to put on a rifle. I just ordered a 10-40x50mm scope to put on a .308 I'm getting.

What is exactly is your budget? Personally I would not buy a cheap Chinese scope like a BSA, Tasco etc. Most of those tend to be junk. Buy the best you can afford. For a .22 LR you don't need a $500 scope unless you are target shooting. Some good choices are moderate priced Burris Fullfields, Bushnell Tropheys, Swift, Sightron, and Weaver.
