i have a hopkins and allen falling block rifle chambered in 22 lr. the barrel and chamber is wore out. can i get this gun re-chambered in 25 stevens long rimfirer and if so, can somebody out there re rifle the barrel and not put a sleeve in it? thanks for the help

You don't want to just reline the barrel to it's original 22?
I did that to my Grandfathers Winchester after his passing and she shoots like a new gun.

Where in the world would you get .25 Stevens RF ammo?
It hasn't been made for over 60 years or more that I know of.

Redman's can reline it to .22 LR.
I doubt he would do it in .25 Stevens though.
In fact, I doubt he even has a .25 Stevens chamber reamer.
