Just wondering how many of you subscribe or even heard of U.S. Conceal Carry Magazine? Although I’ve concealed carried for six years I never found a magazine dedicated to everything conceal carry until about a year ago when I discovered USCCA soon after I became a subscriber and haven’t regarded it since. Personally as a CCW I find it invaluable.

NOTE: I am NOT affiliated with the magazine in ANY way I’m simply a subscriber who has benefited from the magazine articles, CCW reviews, etc.

I subscribe. Decent mag... a lot more software articles compared to Guns & Ammo and American Rifleman.

No interest. I know what works for me, and my tactics are little more than live fire draw from concealment and shoot (lucky for me, I have a 40 acre playground and can mill around aimlessly until suddenly deciding that one of the 55 gallon drums is a threat).

Its a good magazine ... but its $70/yr ... thats just a lot of money for a magazine.

If the internet didn't exist than I'd probably subscribe.

I've seen an advertisement in the past but I'm not a subscriber. Right now I don't have any magazines coming to the house except the NRA magazine. I have thought about it several times.

Mark.

I subscribe to it.

I like the people they interview and even talk to a few of them on another fourm.

Several of THR's members and staff are regular contributors to that magazine.

never heard of it until now. I'm sure it's a good magazine and I could probably find some valuable info in it since i've only been carrying for about about 4 months. but any questions i have i can find answered right here on THR.

I had a complimentary 4 or 6 month subscription when it first came out. It was an ok magazine, I just thought the subscription price was way to high for what I was getting.

I'm a subscriber, although I've been thinking of canceling due to the lack of editing and proofreading-- there are some glaring problems with spelling and sentence structure. I'm waiting to see if it improves.

The price may be a bit steep, but a subscription does get you all the back issues in PDF format.

A.

I've subscribed for a couple of years. But I get too many gun mags and need to cut back. So I am not sure I will renew.

I think the mag is good for people relatively new to CCW. But I don't find much new info there for people that have been into shooting and guns for a long time. The web challenges all print publications - both pro- and anti-gun - to stay relevant.

I do like the cover photos - they show that CCW people are regular people. I like to have a few issues on the coffee table when friends come over. It has led to some good conversations.

Heard of it: Yes
Read an issue: Yes

Seemed rather amateurish to me.
Way too expensive for what you get.

So what you're saying is, get a subscription, download all the back issues. Cancel subscription, wait 5 years, do it again?

Edit: On a serious note, no, I've never even heard of it.

I have been a subscriber since their second issue. I enjoy it as I really don't need articles about other issues which you get in other magazines.
