In the land of make believe.
Anybody use them? How are their belts and their holsters? I am thinking of ordering one of his combo packages for my HK P2000 and wanted to get some opinions. Thanks for all the replies.

I've had the Fist k-8 ultrathin kydex Iwb holster for a little over a year now. Its very light and comfortable when I wear it at 1:30 (appendix carry) with my 642. Its tuckable and you have many options for how its attached to the belt. You can also adjust the cant. When I ordered it I had it in about 2 weeks. I think it's a really good quality holster.

I've owned 5 different leather FISTs, and love them all. Never have owned a belt from them, oddly enough. They are my 'go to' holster company, but I don't buy that many guns anymore, and therefore don't need new holsters that often. FIST holsters don't wear out.

Oh, and when they say that their cordovan color is often mistaken for black, they're not kidding.

I have heard good and bad things about the belt. I do have an early Jim Murnak holster that I am really impressed with. It keeps the gun tight and I like that. But it is extremely tight.

I think I will order one. I will post a review once it arrives.

Do you guys have any pictures of the holsters?

I have a FIST kydex that is extremely uncomfortable. It is now fastened to my bedframe as a "Night Gun" holster. I wear leather Brommeland Max Con V holsters.

I have a FIST belt that I have used for at least 5 or 6 years. It is the type that is double thickness only between about 7 o'clock and 1 o'clock. That is nice in that it is single thickness in the tongue/buckle area. It has worn well, although I have touched it up with black leather dye to keep it that way. At first, it would "rub off" some of its black dye on my hands and light color pants. That went away quickly, especially after giving it a good "rub down" with a soft shoe-polishing cloth. It is not a "perfect" gun belt, but I haven't found one that is, yet. It looks great for casual wear, but will stand out on dress slacks. It is 1.25" wide. Next time, since it would be for casual only, I would order 1.5". It only has 5 holes spaced 1" apart. I prefer 7 holes spaced 3/4" apart.

Hello to all...I'm new here...I've used Fist ultra-thin IWB's for my Glock 27 and 23 for a number of years...they're not real purdy but they work purdy good...I've found that the kydex kinda conforms to my body the more I use it, they're very concealable and low "printing" units...I most frequently carry my model 27 but the model 23 carries about the same...I wear mine directly in front and slightly off-center to the left (I'm right handed) and with a t-shirt there's virtually no "printing"...I wear a regular buckle type belt but I rotate the buckle to the right side of my body so the Fist hooks up to just the belt; this keeps the buckle from bulging out in the front...the Fist will never wear out and it will last you a life time and serve you well...there's a ton of others out there and most of them are good...I'm really happy with my Fist's.

I just got my first Fist holsters, the #12 Basic OWB's, a couple of weeks ago and I'm impressed with the quality for the price. I needed holsters for a 3.5" N-frame S&W and there's not that many around, but due to their design Fist can make their holsters in any barrel length.

I've worn both a few times and find them very comfortable and stable even for my heavy gun. My only issue is with the color of the mahogany one. The color is a very dark burgundy in "normal" light, but under flourescent lighting it turns just about black. I suspect they may have dyed it cordovan instead of mahogany, but either way they have no explanation for the drastic change in color under different lighting.

The quality of the construction seems at least equal to a Galco and the leather itself is much stiffer and better quality than a Galco. As far as I'm concerned they're real bargains for $60 each and will serve me well until I can find some top quality custom leather for my gun.

Here's a pic of the mahogany holster:

I have Kydex OWB for my Glock 26. It's ugly but very high riding. I use it more than any other belt holster, and I have a whole box of them for that gun.

I have 11 FIST holsters of different style and variety. I keep buying them because FIST keeps making quality holsters at very, very fair prices. Wait and delivery times have also remained reasonable. I sure do recommend FIST products.

I have IWB for my Sig 229R I like it. I also ordered one for my Kimber Ultra Carry 2 and I have been waiting for 2 weeks now for it to come in.

Tecumseh:

It has varied from purchase to purchase. At little as two weeks and as much as six weeks. However, in my personal experience they have always delivered when the said they would deliver.
