Wow, the MSRP is only $356 for the camo stocked version. The street price will likely be even less. I hope it is better quality than the earlier budget offering Remington produced. My hopes aren't that high due to the lower price but it sure looks pretty in the pictures.
Even though I have a Rem 700 BDL in 30-06 I'd be tempted by the Marlin in the same caliber. 30-30 would be a little more tempting to me, though I'm guessing they'd offer it in 308 Marlin Express before they'd do one in 30-30.
