Springfield Utracompact 45
Kimber RaptorII 45, full size.

out of the box acuracy in my hands goes to the RaptorII

Centerfire I have a S&W 945 Performance Center thats as accurate as anything I have shot, rimfire a Ruger MK-2 Slabside Competition.

Les Baer Custom
Commander, very close to a Concept VII, but not quite

It's so smooth, it's almost unfair.

All my 9mms are accurate, but I would say my CZ 75 SP-01 is slightly more accurate then the rest of the pack.

Standing Wolf :
My High Standard Sharpshooter .22lr (all steel)
CZ 75B 9mm (all steel)
Sig P239 9mm....when I can hold it steady. (all metal)

This. But, I do have more accurate revolvers and a Contender.

That's a 1" grid target. Left target, 200 gr. JHP Speer, right target is a 200 grain Lee TL cast SWC.

Oddly enough, its my CZ52. 2.5" groups at 50 yards off the bench. Thats pretty good for a 40 year old surplus gun shooting surplus ammo.

For me, it would be helpful in terms of understanding the context of a "group" if, when people reference a target with bullet holes in it, they would (1) state the range/distance the gun was fired at and, (2), advise as to whether the gun was fired off-hand or benched.
IMO, if I'm interested in how well a gun performs as opposed as to how well a shooter performs, I'm looking for a handgun benched (or "Ransomed") and fired at 25 yards.

Assuming we're talking about handguns: M9. By far the most accurate I've ever shot.

Wilson Combat

Wilson Combat full size CQB 45 ACP, adjustable night sights, 3 1/2 lb. trigger. Enough said:).

Both my G17 and P97DC can shoot better than anyone who has fired them yet. With that said, I would have to say my 7mm/223 TC Contender my dad gave me a while back is pretty damn accurate even in my sloppy, distinctly unworthy hands.

SA TRP Operator 1911

Without a doubt, my most accurate pistol is my Springfield TRP Operator.

A very close second and third would be my USPf .45ACP and a Glock 22.

With either, I can do really cool things at the back wall of my range (25 yards).
