trying to get some opinions on which 9mm to get.

i am favoring the 24/7 pro C the only thing holding me back is it is a taurus.

For me, it is the S&W 3913. The early pre luggage rack version. It's light weight, accurate, good capacity (8+1), and extremely reliable. Good luck with the search. TJ

For the Kahr, you may be better with a MK9 instead of the CW9 - the MK9 is smaller, and with the extra weight I'd assume it's more comfortable to shoot.

I have a MK9 and think it's great.

For the Sig P225, if by surplus you mean a P6 model, you need to be very careful to make sure your specific gun can successfully feed hollow point ammo. If not, you'd need to get an updated barrel, and that would all to the cost.

Bersa Ultra Compact 9mm is a nice gun I picked up a few months ago. It is really accurate and feels great in the hand. Holds 13, and shot 600rds so far with out a single faliure of any kind. I am a CZ guy however so anything cz is nice. But bersa is cheaper.

Check out the little SCCY CPX-1 I have one and it shoots good. They are fairly new and like all thinks have kinks to get out. My ser# is in the 11xxx and have had no problems at all. Quite accurate and shoots very well if you don't limp wrist. So far I think it is a keeper.

Agree that the MK9 is smaller than the CW9, and is certainly easy to shoot with standard or +P ammo. With a decent choice of holster and belt, it's a breeze to carry.

Of course if 6 +1 isn't enough to make you comfortable, then you should look elsewhere.

I think you're on the right track with the Sig P225 on your mind, but I would try to either find a non-P6 version or consider a P239 9mm or a P228.

Small and comfort are trade offs. Get too small it bucks too much in your hand. Too big, it hard to conceal.

You left the most easy to conceal off your list anyway, Kel-Tec PF9 Or find a used SP101 in 9mm

from your list i would take the glock 19, the kahrs are nice and i have one but i prefer the steel framed modles. ruger is a great company and very reputable, i would give a hard look at the sr9 as well. higher cap than the 19 and thinner .

after a little more research i am now leaning towards the Kahr CW9 here are a few reasons why!

1. Size
2. i reload and like shooting cast lead bullets (can't do that in a glock or a Kahr PM9 or P9)

are there any known problems with the CW9
