Headline News: A tongue in cheek, non-profane satire of the way in which the Huffington Post is moderated, which did not violate The Huffington Posts TOS, gets a regular commenter - who has been posting at their site for over a year - banned. Is this what liberal/progressive tolerance really looks like? Tolerance for THEIR views and ideas, but not for the views and ideas of others?
Ok, here is the real story behind the anti-gun hypocrite mentioned here:
http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=343480
The anti-gun poster "Solitude" is actually my pro-gun roommate. He signed up for The Huffington Post and after no less than 5 attempts at posting pro-gun comments, all of which failed to pass moderation, he decided to embrace the identity of an anti-gun troll/hypocrite just to see if he could get his posts to show up. He was quickly accepted and given warm adoration by anti-gun poster Kelli and found The Huffington Post allowing him to post his anti-gun non-sense and ad hominem attacks with near immunity. We decided to go with it.
We contacted most of our fellow pro-gun/pro-rights supporters (who we could find email address for) and let them in on our little "experiment" in anti-gun hypocrisy. This continued until we all began to have any posts the Huffington nazis disagreed with (even when they didn't violate the posted TOS) modded out by said nazis. After Solitude had a post modded, he called the modderators "jackasses" and as a result, was banned and had of his posts removed. Seeing this, I posted a sarcastic criticism of the HuffPo mods, refing to them as God-like over-lords and, even though I didn't violate their TOS, I was also banned and had all of my past posts removed.
Here is a link to the site we started when this experiment began:

Hopefully, our work will be continued here at our new website, "The AntiHuffington Post" (keep checking back to see when we get up and running):
