I've wanted to be a fireman since I was knee high to a grasshopper, taken the test and scored in the 90's for the past four years, go through the PT test, but always end up a few spots out. Budget cuts got me last year, went from 104 proposed cadets to less than 40. Made a 92 on the written this time, keeping my fingers crossed.
I also applied for the Border Patrol, made a 97 on that test, should have an offer soon.
I wish my current job as a self employed fence builder paid better, but it got me through college and it gave me plenty of free time, plus lots of time to hunt on the job. Number one is fireman, number two is the BP, after that I don't really know, I hate being in an office and I like to shoot, so it has to pay the ammo bills.
