Magpul PRS

I like most everything about it, but for the weight.

This rig is fairly heavy, and the PRS is no small contributor. Though - thanks to that weight it balances fairly well with the fat barrel.

ETA: Like most other Magpul products, it's a solid, well made unit. The adjustments are very nice to have. The scope on this rifle was changed to an IOR, and lowered quite a bit with a different riser and lower TPS rings. Just tweaked the stock and it was gtg.

I have one on my PTR-91. As Janitor said, it's heavy! But since my PTR is heavy and poorly balanced to begin with, it actually helps the balance issue somewhat. I like it a lot. In my view, it's the best option by far for a scoped G3.

I recently pulled my PRS stock off a rifle:

And went back to an A2E2 fixed stock:

Like the others, I found the stock too heavy and bulky and it offered no real advantage while eliminating the storage capabilities of a standard stock.

I had one on one of my M14s in a LAW483 MCS by TROY.
It made a heavy rifle even heavier, I removed and sold it.
