SP101 .357 concealability

They are about the same. Actually, I would compare the 27 to the SP101.

I carry a 2" SP-101 in a pocket holster. It's heavy enough to know it's there, but with a good belt (I use a Beltman 1.5") your pants stay where they belong! I've never had a problem with it staying concealed.....

i carry a sp101 or a glock 30. I would have to admit they are about the same. I think it depend alot on the holster. I just purchased a high noon holster with a 15° cant, which puts the grip angle more inline with my body (the grip doesn't stick out). I'm going to pick one up for my G30.

If you get a good, flat IWB holster and place it between your belly button and your right hip you get deep concealment for a 3" snubby revolver. I carry a flat 3.6" semi-auto that way when it's not at 4 o'clock. Depending on the moves you are going to do, put the gun where it prints the least. Sitting down the gun is better concealed at the front position. Walking around with a straight back the gun is better concealed at the back position.

Ditto. Nice IWB, but not a pocket carry, just too heavy and bulky even in the short barrel. So, if I get another SP101, it'll be the 3"er.

I think my 3" sp-101 conceals as well, and is as comfortable iwb as my G26. Cylinder is thicker, but the frame area above & below the cylinder is thinner, so it doesn't feel any bigger inside the waistband.

I think a clipdraw ( http://www.clipdraw.com/ ) on an sp101 with a bobbed or enclosed hammer would make very handy carry piece.

I found my SP-101 as about as pocketable as half a brick....can't speak for the Glock....IWB would be another story, but I carry larger guns in that role....

My 2.25" SP101 with bobbed hammer was too heavy for pocket carry. Made it work with a S&W 642 in a RKBA pocket holster or my P3AT in a DeSantis Sting.

The the OP, I found my G19 (similar size to G23) easier to carry in a comp-tac paddle than the SP101 3" in similar gear...just my opinion. YMMV.
