Can anyone compare the Peltor TacPro and the Pro-Ears Pro-Mag Dimension I? I know that the Peltor is only rated at 26 DB while the Pro-Ears are at 33 DB. I understand that neither of them clip?

I'm mostly interested in the electronic qualities between them- clarity, features, and whether or not I can hear the direction the sound is coming from.

I have not tried the Peltors but was impressed by the Pro-Ears that I bought before going to a training class. The amplification was outstanding. I could hear the brass around me hitting the ground and rolling across the concrete. During trigger reset drills I was able to hear the click of the trigger resetting from as far as 3-4 shooters away from me.
They gave good directional quality and I could always tell where the range instructor was and could hear him clearly from anywhere on the range.

I went from Peltor 6S model to the Pro-Ears. The Pro-Ears is better in every way. Sound is better, it's easier to hear things, they don't just "clip" and cut out completely when a noise happens. They just don't rebroadcast the loud noise. With the 6S model I was worried about long term hearing damage either shooting indoors or outdoors when doing range officer duties for guys with compensators and such.

That said, the Peltors do still work and get the job done. If you're on a budget, outdoors, not shooting a lot and don't have an extremely loud gun they might be an acceptable choice.
