The Bruce Campbell one is from Army of Darkness, after he returns to the present one of the evil thingys attacks the S-Mart. Bruce grabs the 1892 and takes her down.

I thought Wild West Guns made those, at one point...

Pretty sure there are several companies making them in what are today considered pistol calibers (.44-40 and stuff), but I've yet to see any in .45-70.

If I do remember he fires that rifle about 15 times in the scene. But Bruce Campbell doesn't believe in no stinking ammo capacity.

Great pics folks! Keep 'em coming!

What's the purpose of the Leupold Prismatic sight? Or did I miss a joke?
jakemccoy, I figured an etched reticle red-dot for slugs .. why, does it suck? :uhoh:

Not sure who authored this pic, but I dig it:

be interesting to shoot. i wonder if you couldn't just have one made and just re-registered as a pistol?

Unfortunately, the opinion of the BATF is "once a rifle, always a rifle." Only way to have it legally be a pistol would be to talk Marlin into selling me a gun with no stock, then have it declared as a pistol for the first transfer. Like how shotguns shipped with a pistol grip only can be made into an AOW if they're initially declared as a pistol.
