Triple K brand mags

They are cheap and nasty.
But they are all that is available for many obscure guns. One guy said "They have a good guarantee, I just kept sending them back until I got one that worked."

Inauspicious name-choice, but it seems like some companies strive for memorability. (Krapf's busses, anyone?)

My experience with the Triple-K brand is erratic, be it magazines, or holsters (better than the magazines). I say to save yourself the agravation on the magazines and get Mec-Gar for a proven product (a lot of manufacturers use Mec-Gar as the factory magazine).

Bad juju. I have had more bad luck than good with Triple K, ProMag, and National Mag. About the only consistently good third-party magazine for most pistols (excepting 1911s) seems to be MecGar.

And that is about the only good thing. I bought two 10-round Ruger Mini-14 magazines from Brownells. Neither would function - the mag hung down too far in the well and the rifle's bolt would override the top of the cartridge and bend it. But Brownells has a generous return policy.

I would stay away

Have had no luck with Triple-k's neither have a couple of my buddies.
They always look right but don't quite work right, or at all, which is obviously more important.
I would rather have a used factory mag than a new triple-k any day.
But they do let you return them, if you want to keep trying. Too much hassle if you ask me.

HIt or miss , mostly misses , I only have gotten ONE good Triple K mag thats been good in about 5 I've bough over the past 10 years .

I'll add to the chorus. Triple K mags have been more trouble than they are worth, for me. Only good one I've had was for a High Power, the other three models ( Sig 228, 226, and 1911) never could get good reliability. If you need aftermarket mags, get Mec Gar if they make what you need. They are equal to, or better than most factory mags.

Ditto on above. I bought two Triple K mags and they weren't reliable. Won't buy anymore.

I only buy them for obscure guns like my CZ24 or Mauser 1914 where I'm not depending on reliability.

Triple K's are crap! Have one for a S&W 5906 and it seldom functioned reliably.

Adding to the chorus, they have been horrible in my experience. Such a poor fit I didn't bother testing for reliability.

I have several for the Llama .380s.
5 mags - 2 nickle and 3 blue - all seemed to work fine.
I also have one for a Astra Cub that I have not used but I'm already dubious about the way it presents the top round. Just hand cycling it seems OK, but I need to shoot it.
