I have Smith Model 19 and usually try to stay away from using most full power 125 grain loads in it because of the forcing cone issue with those rounds. However the Golden Sabre's are mid range load, do yall think these would still be bad for the gun as the other 125 loads?

I think shooting lots of the Golden Sabres would be just fine in your K frame mod 19. They are my carry round in my little .357 J-Frame mod 649. I don't think that they are anywhere near the "full house" 125gr. in causing wear to forcing cone, etc. It's the light weight bullet driven at very high velocity that causes the damage with the full power 125s. You don't have that same combination with the Golden Sabres.

Thanks. The gun has seen thousands of rounds of 158 grain 357s both in semi wadcutter and JHP without any sign of wear. Which is why I disgree with those who claim that all 357 rounds should be limited in the K-mags. However living in the city the excess penetration of the 158s worry me and the old 158 Hydra Shock is hard to come by.
