It's mine! Thank god they found it! Send it to me at: **** **** ST. Houston, TX 77***

Seriously, that's a nice looking peice!

I know how you feel wish I could lay claim to it, the idea of the sheriff making an effort to find owner impressed me.

I'd love to hear if that gun goes up for auction, though. It would be a keeper.

Only Boxer or McCarthy could destroy that piece. I hope they find the owner/ family. If not, I hope it goes to a good home.

I was about to get excited but it's just a Remmy. Nice example tho, I'm sure it has a great story to go with it.

That's single-handedly the best modification to a gun I've ever seen. Think about the symbolism of it...keeping a picture of his love on the grips of his gun to remind him why it's so important to fight to protect your life, so that you may live for your love. Very, very cool. I hope it finds it way back home.

Several years back, I farted around trying to make a clear set of grips like that. I intended to put the famous cheesecake photo of Betty Grable under them.
As often happens, I got distracted, shelved the project and never finished it. This inspires me to see if I can find them and complete the job.

I see a new market for grip makers, clear grips plus old faded "ivory colored" photos underneath, or reproductions their-of
