This reminds me of people who were cleaning their gun and they "accidently" kill someone. Sometimes they have to "clean" the gun twice because they missed the first time.

Oh, yes. Even if it is themselves.

I can give you one new tidbit. There was an ongoing argument about MONEY.That is from someone close to the couple.

I wouldn't worry about her too much! The preacher's wife who purposefully shot her husband in the back with a shotgun only did 3 months and is out now. So much for only having one side of the story.

And what is with all these new members who have "inside information" on the couple's relationship?

95% of all couples have ongoing arguments about money and from what I understand, there was no life insurance policy in her name, only in his son's name.
Do you know what is happening with the services? What is the talk there about who is handling the services? I've heard conflicting stories.

She hasn't been arrested. The matter is under investigation and it is unknown at this time if any criminal charges will be filed.

Sir (or M'am) if you intend to become a participant in this or any forum, I respecfully suggest you learn to follow the flow of the "conversation." The comment about "She is already out?" did not refer to your friend, it referred to the preacher's wife who has already been arrested, tried, convicted, served her time and been released.

Another case entirely.

I apologize for misunderstanding/misreading the post. While I am a brand new member of THIS forum, I am a long time member of many other forums and generally do not have a problem following the 'flow' of converstaions in threads. I can relate to how annoying it can be when people (in this case, me), have problems understanding posts or staying on topic in threads, and I hope that you will forgive my unintional blunders. Sadly, this case involves people near and dear to my heart so I've had a tendency to 'jump the gun' and respond emotionally. Again, I apologize and will double and triple read items prior to responding and posting. Oh, and I'm female.

I do not live in Arizona and I do not know Mower, but look forward to reading more of his/her posts. I have a feeling that Mowers sources are closer to one side of the family and mine are closer to the other side, but that is just an assumption. And 'side' does not refer to any type of feud, I'm simpling referring to sources that may be closer to Gary's side of the family as opposed to sources that are closer to Bev's side of the family. This was a second marriage for both of them so Gary and Bev have friends and family from previous relationships.

Oh ok. The two of you just read like you were friends or friends of friends of one or the other, and I was the curious one.

There is a service for Gary tomorrow[thursday] at 3:00 pm at the Methodist church on St Andrews and Buffalo Soldier Trail. It is being put on by his friends and son.

I know Beverly was planning a visitation on Friday and services on Saturday. The paper mentioned the visititation on Friday. I wonder if the Sat. service was changed to Thursday at the request of Gary's family or if there will be two services?

What can either of you tell us apout the incident that is the subject of the original post in this thread?

Do you know what make/model/caliber gun was involved? Do you know how the deceased was shot?

Who was familar with and handled the guns in the household--the deceased, the wife, or both?

I don't want to say too much about what I have heard because it is basically heresay from friends and family and I would not want to say something that was not true. The Thursday service is put on by his son and friends and has nothing to do with Beverly,in fact she is not invited. I don't believe either Gary or Beverly could be considered gun enthusiasts,I don't know the type of gun or the guns history.

CuriousOne you sound as if you are very close to this case. If that is so, do yourself a favor and just ignor everything being said. Plus if you are close to this case, if I were you, I wouldnt even care about what other people happen to be saying. You say she loved him very much. I say who are you to say? Even if you by longshot chance happen to be kin to her or him, even if you are one of their children, you are still ignorant to their relationship. You only see what they wanted you to see.
