New PINK Sig Mosquito hits the market today

I was pretty skeptical, but looking at the photo, it's actually not so bad.

I set this up for my then-teenage daughter:



She still shoots it a lot and has actually had many women and girls shoot it that were intimidated by EBRs . . . go figure.

At least when the Mosquito jams it will look pretty.

Fiance liked the look of it quite a bit. if you still have some when money is right then maybe I will be ordering one, especially if I can also afford a good pocket pistol too.

Just plain wrong on a number of levels.

Great idea if it bring more of the ladies to our sport, even if it is wrong.

My daughter's reaction was "Oooohh, Christmas present"!!

I don't object to the "Pink" guns; I just care for any of the shades of pink that they use. Even my 13 year old daughter finds them yucky and strange looking. She prefers basic blued or tactical black for her choice of finishes. Do women really like these pink guns or is it all just some marketing scam?

Women will buy anything pink, unless they have a periwinkle fetish(don't laugh, I've met a woman who had that).

Some people are attracted to cold-blue, some stainless or chrome, so it's not too hard to see someone want a pink rifle or handgun. Why do some guys like OD green guns?

It's an OPTION folks....Something you can choose for yourself to make it more yours, to be unique or otherwise reflect your personality. If it appeals to women and gets them shooting, so much the better.

If it was purple my old lady would have bought two already.
