Probably more, But I don't know all of your handles - 'been getting about 10-15 prepaids a day shipped now. was hoping to have them all shipped by yesterday evening, but should make it by Friday.

I got a PM from Chris telling me mine would be going out ASAP. Doubt I will celebrate Labor Day with it, but there is always hope.




Now I know some of those folks listed ordered their upper months after I did, but if it gets here about the same time, I will be happy.
 
got my Ligamec today. I'll post pics and details tomorrow. It looks beautiful. Fit and finish looks great. I ended up putting it on my Superior Arms lower. Bolt was still tight in the RRA lower.
 
I'm really impressed with this upper. The fit and finish is great. The silvery stuff you see is aluminum from me honing the buffer tube out. It isn't the finish on the upper itself.

No but I speak from experience, not my own but from others that I know that have had their SS scopes ruined from the recoil of the .50.

When Biggerhammer was "the" source for .50 info, guys use to have a running total and bet as to when their SS's would fail. As long as there's a good warranty and customer service don't worry. If it fails send it back and have it repaired. BTW, there was never any knowing as to when it would fail, some guys got a few hundred rounds while some only got a few.

In my view it's a good starter scope if you just want to get out and shoot but should be upgraded in the future.

Shipping problems caused three to be returned today. Earlier BOHICA stated that they were shipping 10-15 a day. Asked the question if all the prepaids were still scheduled to ship tomorrow. Will let you know if Chris posts a response.
 
I ordered my Ligamec on the 15th, called him on the 18th to add some stuff to my order, he had a hurricane come through and I still had it on the 26th. I wish I'd have called him a year ago.
 
Here you go hornadylnl, I just hope they don't get their panties in a wad over me posting these pictures. The billet handguard sure looks good, soon to be a reported $235 option. Note finger on stock in the creek bed picture to keep it from nosing over :)

Have you got yours yet? Between here, Arfcom and Calguns, I'm still only seeing 1 or 2 have been received.
 
I have heard of three being delivered. One had bipod problems in that the detents weren't deep enough and wouldn't hold. Another was chambered in 510 DTC and sold to a person in CA .... but was marked "BMG" potentially causing problems for the owner. But, I have seen no problems listed on the third.

The more I read about the Bohica, the more I am happy I bought a Ferret50.

To Chris' credit, he is fixing all the problems.
 
No hornadylnl, not a word about delivery either. Last PM from Chris said he should ship it by Friday, and that was August 16, then a promise of "ASAP" on the 26th, but nothing else after that.

Chris has left for a trade show, so I don't expect anything this week either.

donnavon posted yesterday he got his, with the aluminum hand guards.

Unfortunately due to economic conditions, I am unable to follow the trend and upgrade to another brand in order to get an upper fast. Having ordered a year ago today, and paid early this year, this appears to be my best shot at getting into the .50 club for the foreseeable future.

I do like how there are some for sale, direct from the manufacturer, listed on Gunbroker. That means to me that the seller has enough confidence in getting his allotment to start the sell.
 
Almost 2 1/2 months after 100 were supposed to ship, only 3 have. Whisper, like you, I now have a 50 sitting in my safe.
 
Wow, I can't believe there's enough bandwidth on the internet to cover all these rave reviews from new MKIII owners.
 
So I imagine if there had been any news I would have heard something? Still waiting on mine after "bad forgings?" No answer to e-mail and phone message box is full, wish I could get a reply from Chris, getting worried now, hope all is going ok for his business.....and my gun....
 
Ok, I hate to bring this up............but

Has anyone received their BOHICA uppers lately? There seem to be a couple of people on the BOHICA website who got theirs in the last week or so, just wondering about the rest of us.
