update on the felon,

he got picked up a few nights ago and bonded out on $10,000

guess we will see what happens now. would have thought he would have been VOP as he is on felony probation now

That's nuts. A felon on probation gets busted and turned back loose for only 10 grand. They must not have any evidence, to do something like that.
I always thought Florida was tough. I know 2 people who went down there and got thrown into jail for vagrancy. One happened to be sleeping in his car and the other had some kind of relapse, for neglecting taking his lithium pills, that day. The first one deserved it, though. He was a sociopath anyway, Couldn't get chicks and ended up marrying some mail order bride from Vietnam or nearby. The 2nd one needed medical attention and had no business getting locked up with felons. Both spent at least a couple months locked up. This happened more than 30 years ago, though. Maybe Florida has gotten soft, since then.

I've done FTF with people I know or who are recommended by trusted people only. Gun club during normal people hours on a weekend seems reasonable as well.

Chances are though that 99% of what I would have to sell would go on the net these days, there's only so much market here locally.
