I agree. Oleg has usually be a great person on this forum. What is your side of the story? If you have a good, legitimate side, I wish you luck in court. If its anything less than honest, I fear you are in deep doo-doo... as its going to REAL world court.

Not to put my tinfoil hat on too soon, but database issues with a politically incorrect forum and unresponsiveness of the site administrator does sound fishy, doesn't it? I'm sure that so many of us talking about possible civil disobedience and opposition to the government has set off at least a few red flags at the .gov. Now I'm wondering what's really going on with Derek.

Still leaves a bad taste in one's mouth tho'. The site has certainly changed from when we were just a friendly group of TFL refugees.

As obvious to everyone, I'm fairly new to THR. But I'm not new to these kinds of forums. I have varied interests...politics, firearms, motorsports, computers, sometimes even online gaming. One thing I've found to be a universal pattern...with these online forums such as this, the more control over the content and discussions that the mods try to exert over the members, the more juvenile the mods are. I have to say, I am not completely surprised something like this has happened.

PS: The moderators who objected most to this mess have been removed by Derek. The rest are working to provide THR as usual out of respect for the forum members. Also, my "administrator" status allows me to read staff forum. It has no real administrative functionality.

Oleg, good to see that you still have access to the board at least. I've always appreciated the work you've done, on this board and off. I have to say that removing mods seems a bit JBTish, not at all in the spirit of how this board was started, but maybe it's not the same board anymore.
