Hey All,

There is an Appleseed Shoot at Ft. Bliss, Rod and Gun, on October 18-19!

This is a great facility, plenty of covered room for the firing line. Room to go to 500 yards, so bring the 22 for the 25 meter portion, and a centerfire for actual distance.

The Texas State Rifle Association has paid the range fee for the first 20 shooters that register, so register soon and take advantage of their generosity!

I heard the Ft. Bliss, Rod and Gun is an awesome range.

TSRA is sponsoring too!?

I will definitely be attending this shoot.

I'm an El Paso resident... and... on October 18 and 19th I would just happen to be in CHINA on a business trip for the company I work for.

make sure you send several friends in your stead ;)

That way, when the next one gets brought up (and we hope to have 4-6 here next year), Ft. Bliss folks will be eager to do more shoots :D

You can still make it a good shoot, by spreading the word.
 
After doing some research, the Ft. Bliss, Rod and Gun club has 1000 yard ranges.

I'm ready. I'm gonna put myself and my M1A to the test.

I'll post a report on the experience here.
 
I had a really, really good time at the Appleseed Project shoot in El Paso.

Seeing it first hand, Fort Bliss Rod and Gun Club is an outstanding range and is open to the public.

I shot my M1A. It was alot of fun hitting steel at 100, 200, 300, and 400.

The Fort Bliss Rod and Gun Club management were outstanding and supported the Appleseed shoot to the hilt.

I understand they will be hosting Appleseed Project weekend shoots almost every month in 2009.

Take advantage of it if you live within driving distance, you will not regret it.

I will definitely be back.
