Well I went to the local Fair Grounds for the gun / knife show today after Church. Usually the show is at the very least moderately (150+) crowded at this time of day, but there were fewer than 30 (maybe as low as 20) people that were not vendors in the whole building! :uhoh:

Curious I said to on the the regulars, "Please don't tell me it was this way yesterday" N he said "It was this way yesterday"... "with high gas prices and the economics people are afraid to get out".:what:

Well I figure at this rate if this keeps up the Democrats will not need to pass any gun show laws, all the vendors will just go broke...:cuss:

The moral to this story is support your hobby go buy a gun N some ammo.

I live in Central Florida and the gun shows at the Central Florida fairgrounds in Orlando always have a healthy attendance. I have not attended the past two shows because the deals are no longer there. The shows are dominated by one or two major retailers that buy up about 30% of the floor and there is a small group of independents and the rest is beef jerky and jewelry.

My buddie and I went to the Alexander show in Ny today.. same people same leaches standing outside the door looking to buy anything before it gets into the show [standing next to a big sign reading it illegal to buy and sell outside at a gun show ] cost 5$ to get in $600-$700 m1 carbines and 700$ 03springfields - I see M1 bayonets asking $150.00 Not Me baby.
I tossed a buck in the pots of the SCOPE and NRA guys and bought some remington sulggers for $1.85 a box and a box of 44-40 $35.00.
I know why they want to kill off gun shows --There must have been a boat load of anti yomommabomma posters there-
