where do you find is most comfortable/concealable for your IWB?

i've been keeping my .357 snubnose in the small of my back, but i find it sticks out too much when i'm sitting down and gives me a ghetto booty when i'm standing up. (i'm a skinny white kid so it looks awkward)

i'm trying 12:00 IWB, but i just get an uneasy feeling having it in the front, although it does conceal much better. the gun is a little too big for pocket carry, and definitely too heavy. and i'm not an OWB person.

3:30 to 4:00. Front of the waistband carry is also a perfectly viable method, but I think you will find it more comfortable at 1 or 2:00, or 10-11:00 in a crossdraw. (Assuming you're right-handed.)

I find it's more comfortable at 3:30 to 4:00, but it prints worse the further back it goes. So I carry at 3:00, right under where my arms hangs.

I put mine right behind the belt loop on the sideseam of the pant.

I've found that placement is key a matter of a half inch can make the difference between CCW and O.C. W/ a shirt over it.

3 to 4, all depends on where the beltloops on the jeans are at. Any further back makes it uncomfortable to drive, and any further forward makes it uncomfortable to just sit down.

for me, i use a left hand holster on my right hip, just over my back pocket. that way, driving in the car, sitting at a desk, or walking, it is comfortable, and my pistol is facing the wright way for easy drawing. works for me. i hope you find a place that works as well for you, as this does for me. good luck.

For short, compact handguns (like the Glock G26 and S&W J-frame snubbies), I find the appendix position works very well for low-ride IWB carry. In addition to allowing concealed carry with shorts and t-shirts, I like the fact that I have access to the firearm while sitting or driving.

Winter carry of a S & W mod 19 2 1/2" at 2:00 (appendix). No one has a clue. Coat or jacket hides it quite well...
I carry full sized autos and revolvers both like that, even in Summer. At 6'2" and(way) over 200 lbs, a untucked shirt covers them up pretty well for most purposes.:D
