There's more to a dangerous game rifle than caliber and sights...can't believe that Rem has a sling swivel stud on the fore-end.

I came extremely close to buying a dangerous game rifle once. It was a Ruger #1 in I believe 458 Lott. Then I looked at the price of a box of rounds........I did not buy that rifle.

Ow. That'd hurt quite a bit to shoot...

Do note that most folks with the bigger rifles (I have a .458 Win Mag) reload their own rounds. Each shot costs me less than $2, now.

That looks nice all, but if you're looking to a .375 H&H, I suggest the Sig-Sauer 202 Safari with interchangable barrels. Although, my CZ safari also was pleasing to shhot, but sprayed oil mist on my eyeglass lens via the firing pin. So many fine firearms, so little vault space, so little money.

Remingtons make fine rifles for targets, deer, etc. But dangerous game?
