Never never stop buying at 13. You need MORE. I had three guns at age 19. You're doing just fine. Wait until 21 hits.

It's quality not quantity.

Don't buy a 1911 for #14. Next thing you know, you'll have 13 1911's, and the dilemma will resurface.

Don't feel too bad... I'm 16 and only have 11 (all under paretns name of course); but had to buy them myself.

Now I am scared that I will not be able to own an AR or AK of some sort due to obama.

From looking at your list, I think I see the problem. You don't have a single Glock. I was in your situation a few months back... I went right out and bought another gun. No one should have just 13. Buy another one ASAP and then be very careful you don't lose one.

13 isn't nearly enough. For starters buy a crate of mosins. You need mosins, lots of them. You can only shoot them one at a time, and about %90 of them will shoot terribly, but you will love them all.

gvnwst...

Not sure about the BLR. I need to investigate the new safety mechanism before I commit to a newer model. The older models with the straight grip are sorta like the old Winchester 88 lever rifle - all the .308s are for sale but the .243s rarely go on the sale block and when they do, it's for a premium price.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings to find another #1. I saw one in The Swede but they wanted a fortune. Also saw a beauty in .375 H&H but I came down with a wee case of Sanity last month and I'm not quite over it yet.

I just turned 14 and have 4 guns in my dads name but were bought with my money.Oh and he has 5 that were bought with his money so thats a total of 9 in the house.

My 4
-Yugo SKS
-Savage116 30-06 topped with a Nikon Buckmaster
-Ruger 10/22
-RIA 1911 tactical 45acp [My newest addition]

Personally, I try like heck to keep it under a hundred. I find after a hundred it's hard to remember what you have.

Wow, I have a hard time remembering them when I get more than 20 of anything.

To Shawnee, take esmith's advice. Mosins, while they may be rough, are some of the best guns to buy.

Age 20 with three guns. Just paid off my Del-Ton Midlength. Already contemplating on another Del-Ton build. Probably one of their 16" M4, 16" midlength, or 16" rifle kits - but with unnecessary add-ons in order to turn it into a nasty shooter

I agree with getting some more. I'd suggest some good ol' rifles with a little more of an evil zeal to them if you can, personally.

The number 13 is unlucky?

It supposedly began with the da Vinci painting (1498), "The Last Supper", because thirteen people are in it.

But on the other hand, the Apollo 13 lunar mission, which suffered a near-fatal multiple systems malfunction, launched on 13:13 and the first problems took place on the 13th. Astronauts: Lovell, Swigert, Haise.

If 13 is unlucky, then the numbers 12 and 14 are guilty by association.

13 unlucky? Then so should the letter "B" be, because it looks like a scrunched together 13.

RIP Mitch...

I'm personally not a handgun person, I can see my self having 2 or 3. But rifles are my obsession.

My humble collection

marlin .17hmr
glenfeild semi auto .22
Ruger m77 tang safety .243
Winchester mod 94 30-30
winchester mod 70 featherweight 30-06.
Ruger m77 .300 win mag
Remington wingmaster 12ga
S&W k22

I can easily see myself owning 50 guns.

you should celebrate your 13th gun purchase with a tattoo. 13 on you shoulder should do it & most tat shops will even do it for free if you wait till the next friday the 13th to get it
