So there is a debate going on in a guitar-related forum I frequent. Someone at a Guitar Center in North Carolina was OC-ing and was asked to disarm or leave.

I assume they can legally do that. Can they do that for people who carry concealed as well?

Begs the question "How do they know?"

I, as owner of my property can ask you to leave if you have polka dotted underwear, but finding out who to evict is the hard part. :D

HisSoldier. He stated "OC-ing (open carry).

Only if they see you "print" and figure you are carrying. Don't print...Now if the store is posted. Don't patrenize...

Then you can CC in his store...He still has the right to tell you to disarm or leave if he figures you are carrying concealed. I'd tell him that I would not utilize his store again and leave peacefully...You might explain what you had to do to aquire a CCW and that criminals don't...

Depends on the local laws and I'm not familiar with NC's laws but except for a few states that have signs that carry legal weight they can hang up neon signs that say you aren't allowed in if armed if they want. All they can do is ask you to leave and if you refuse, have you arrested for trespass.
