Chinese M14 Rebuild?

I got the Chinese M14 in this thread for $900.00, but that included the 2.5K rounds of .308, ammo cans and magazines (8 of them).

Got it back today from Warbirds. I just can't stand custom jobs. Nothing goes right. It's just money down the rathole.

Rifle not completed as ordered. I've got to give up custom guns, not a single gun smith has ever got a weapon right. I give up.

I've sent guns all over the country and no one has done the job I want.

My curse is to wonder the earth looking for a gun plumber.:banghead:

Warbirds e-mailed me back. He did not put on the Vortex that I wanted and I still have that inane faux flash suppressor that the PLA put on.

Guns are so frustrating. Must be why I like them soooo much.

Confusion over extent of job. So much for technology being a boon to mankind.

The work he did was absolutely brilliant. The bolt is almost Krag-like. I drooled over it last night. The trigger is "glass rod" but still able to withstand a AFV driving over it. Just like I like.
