I prefer the SA over German because the DAG ammo, even in sealed packs, will sometimes have corrosion on the cases. The SA seems to be the cheapest around and has worked very well for me.

My semi'd M14 has seen very little but my handloads since I bought it. No fuss. No bother. No slamfires either if you load properly.

I've been buying and shooting the German "MEN" surplus and SA out of my M1A.

It runs fine on both but the German is more accurate.

I love the Lithuanian head stamped GGG. I get the best performance out of my SOCOM 16 with it.

Ive been shooting the Prvi stuff in both my M1a and Fal. At first I had some issues with it not cycling in my FAL. After figuring out that I needed a little more gas everything ran fine. The Fal was a little hard on the brass at first but it has been fine on since tuning the gas.

+1 for rolling your own. My favorite recipe is 43.0 gr. of H-4895 under a 147 gr. FMJ bullet (I like the bulk Winchesters), OAL of 2.780. The brass and primer selections are up to you. Runs just fine in my Imbel/Imbel FAL.

which surplus is boxer primed? i need brass

Any of it that has one hole in the bottom :D I wish I could be more specific but when I pick up range brass I don't even look at it until I get home. Most of the stuff I know. The ones I don't i just shine my little light in it. Two holes, toss. I think most of it has a milsup headstamp, usually with a 7.62, I just don't look at it that closely anymore.

That's good brass. Great for reloading too.

My reloads consisting of LC surplus brass, surplus IMR4895 and 168 SMKs.

I'm trying out three different powders, H322, RE-7, and 1680. I have the first two done and am working up the 1680, for my CZ 527.

I haven't bought any .308's because I have enough brass, bullets, and powder. I settled on Varget as my only load for my .308

You forgot the "roll your own" box.

+1 The way I shoot, I couldn't afford to buy commercial ammo. I keep a minimum inventory of commercial stuff in reserve, but my range ammo all comes off the press.
