v10 Ultra Compact Grips

So I'm finally getting around to trying to make my V10 a bit more user friendly and I was wondering if normal 1911 grips will work on it. Also, is there some special way to take the wrap around rubber grips off? I have smaller hands and can't work the mag release well with those big honkers on.

Oh, also, can anyone point me in the right direction for a spare barrel for one? Preferably non-ported.

Well I can't say that I'm super impressed. Mine has had feeding problems, but I'm giving it a super deep clean and I'll be taking it to the range soon to see how it does after that. The porting also worries me because I want to replace my full size 1911 with the V10 for my carry piece. It seems finicky, but I might just need to tune it.
