I'm just starting to reload and found these PDC bullets.

Are they comparable to a Win 124 gr FMJ, or are they a thin plating. The site didn't give specs. .355? flat bottom?

If you've reloaded them, can you use Winchester bullet loading data? Or maybe I should say where do you get your loading data for this bullet?

Thanks for any info you can provide

These are good bullets and I have shot the 115gr, 124gr, 147gr. These are the best price right now for 9mm FMJ bullets.

I ordered 1000 115g and 1000 124g FMJ from them. I received the 115g in about a week and they are good bullets. I have not received the 124g ones yet. I called them about a week ago and was told they are running behind due to the large number of orders. They told me it would be early Feb. before they would be able to ship them. I hope to get them sometime later this week.

Thanks guys.

They say on he site they are running behind orders and "you'll be next in the line".

The latest news from PD.....

Called earlier this week on an order placed in early February. They said at least 2 more weeks for 9mm bullets. That would make it 6 weeks total.

I asked them if there was another size that they stock that I should order next time and they said they were not able to stock ANY 9mm bullets.

:cuss:

To follow up on my previous post. I received the 124g's about 2 weeks ago. I like their bullets but if I order from them again I will make sure I order way before I run out. I ordered some plated 45acp and 38spl bullets from Berrys on Monday recieved them today. I think it is kind of obvious who I will be buying from in the future.

I got my 124gr F<MJs yesterday. Took about a month.
They are flat bottom like Winchester's, but the tip is a shade blunter & wider.

Just a note: 12 Winchester 124gr FMJs measured around .60" long
Lengths varied by as much as .004+"

The PDs measured .003 shorter than the Wins avg
Lengths varied by up to .002+

They should load about the same as Win data gives. I'm going to check the Win rds seating depth at my 1.111 oal load and then see how that compares with the PDs loaded to my 1.111 oal. There might be a slight difference . It may need to go just a skosh shorter OAL.
