Just built a 1911 out of a springfield commander platform. Ed Brown beavertail grip safety, Nowlin speed-demon trigger group and hammer, pachmyr trigger and wrap-around rubber grip with a cylinder and slide thumb safety.
4 lb trigger and deadly accurate with no malfunc's yet... she's a sweetie
S&W M&P40 without any extra fluff (no thumb safety, mag safety, or internal lock). I like it alot so far. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the one fluff I did want, the tritium sights. I'll probably add them at a later date.
usgi 1911 colt. it is a marked post ww2 agusta arsenal rework in around 90% made in 1918 and everything is original 1918 other that a gi post ww2 barrel, slide stop and main spring housing added when the arsenal rebuilt it. most likely a early dcm pistol.
Taurus PT 945SS I ordered it on 1-23-2009 I received it on 1-28-2009. I went to the gun range on 1-31-2009 I had fired 18 rounds and had a misfire looked at the pistol and the Extractor and the loaded chamber indicator were missing..Sent it back it Taurus 2-2-09. Short day at the range.
Mosin chinese type 53. $80 out the door, basically an impulse buy. The trigger is totally sweet. I think I'm gonna re-finish the stock and re-blue the barrel. Should be a fun project.
The first gun I bought was a XD40 service about 5 years ago. I had to sell it to make a child support payment a year later. Last month I got a new one. I'm so happy again I really loved that pistol
Does a starter pistol count? If it does, I got a great deal on a NIB Walther Mod. U.P. If not, how about a Walther PPS in .40S&W? It's a very nice gun, indeed.
