Springfield EMP 1911 style 9mm. I bought mine over a year ago for $1,100. I carry it every day and shoot it almost compulsively. You would really enjoy it, I'm sure. Look into it. I can't say enough good things about this gun, and it's definately paid for itself times over. It's very small, so a great concealment option, but with all the "full size" frills, its a real shooter. Very accurate, match grade trigger, tritium night sights, ambi. thumb safety, loaded chamber indicator (visual/edge of the brass), good size beaver-tail but no snags on clothing, AWESOME cocobolo wood grips with the classic Springfield brand, mags made in Italy, Kydex holster, 2 extra mags, hard case, cleaning brush, stainless upper. They now make it in .40 too if you prefer!

Bp78,
That STI is sweet! Do you know if they are available without the front serrations?

No mention of the Bul M5

Is there no one that likes it. To me it seems like a good deal

STI seems to insist on those forward serrations and a big logo mark (well used now, center). I had a .45 built for USPSA competition on the same STI frame but with a clean slide (bottom pistol) Fusion can build you one very similar in 9mm, to spec, for only about $200 more than an off the shelf Trojan. http://www.fusionfirearms.com/
