Mine took 12 days but I shipped it right before Christmas so I imagine the holidays slowed it up a bit. My brother shipped his back well before the holidays and got it back in 5 days.

I got mine two days ago as well. Hope it comes back quickly. I've been waiting to purchase extra mags cuz I wanted to see how the new ones with the extension feel. None of the dealers around have had them in stock long enough for me to try one.

I heard they had a delay from a supplier that slowed everything down considerably.

Mine was delivered on 1/14 and I haven't heard from them.

Sent mine off Jan 2nd and got it back yesterday. A note explained that they are backed up due to holidays and parts on backorder. The note said to expect turnaround in 4-5 weeks.

bratch

You won't hear from them until the UPS guy shows up at your house. You can call as a co-worker did, but they simply apologized and said they were backed up.

I shipped mine off just after christmas. Yesterday I got a post card from ruger saying parts delay 4-5 weeks ect. Today i received my LCP and a hat! The extra magazine didn't have an extension for the pinky finger.

mine took about three weeks. it seems they were trying to find a magazine extention/finger rest floor plate, and the company who was supplying them can not keep up with demand or something, so ruger is now looking for another company to produce them. they sent me a card saying there was going to be a delay of up to 3 weeks, then 2 hours later, the pistol showed up with a note saying they would send the finger rest extension at a later date. they did send the hat, and the spare magazine though. the only problem that i see with the hat is it advertises that you are ccw' ing. which kind of defeats the ccw aspect.

Mine malfunctioned and I returned it to the store. That was just before the recall. It took over two months for me to get it back. After I got it back it still malfunctioned - failures to feed. I followed the phone directions of the Ruger tech and filed and polished stuff and now it finally seems to be working pretty good.

I sent mine during the holidays and received it back last week. (They had previously sent a letter saying they were short some parts and it would probably be 30 days). It had a note in the box with the LCP saying that they were out of the finger extension but it would be shipped later. Haven't shot it yet. Sent the extra mag and a very nice LCP cap.

I also should mention that they sent back one of the new style magazines with the finger extension plus a $25 gift certificate for their shop.

You can check UPS daily using your serial number as a search. Then you will know probably as fast as the Customer Service person on the phone.

I got mine yesterday so 17 days door to door.

I got the note that the finger extension would be mailed too.

Big Daddy.......

I've been thinking the same thing about my guns!!! Our son also is a gun nut so I can rest in peace knowing that they will be thoroughly enjoyed!!!!

I got mine back this week after a ten day turnaround; not bad at all. Got the new magazine without the extension; that will come separately, later. Also received the cap. Thanks Ruger!

Sent mine off during the holidays and got it back in less than a week along with the hat and the finger extension mag. I thought that was pretty darned good service.

2 weeks. got a new mag with finger extension. a new hat. $25 gift certificate. Well worth it. Mine has never failed in any way.

I finally got mine in the mail to ruger last friday, and I just received it (with 2-day shipping) this morning. I'm impressed so far.

LCP Recall turn around time.

I sent mine out on Feb. 10 and it was returned to me Feb. 23.
It came in the box I sent it in with the envelope and the papers
exactly as I sent it. It came with a hat, a magazine and a note
say the finger grip extension would be shipped later.

Mine was a fast one week turn around. Sent in on Monday Feb.9, returned Monday Feb. 16.

No finger extention, and no note about a finger extention.

The gun and the new mag work great, the hat is dorky.

Mine took just under three weeks. Called the day before it arrive back and they gave generic "we are delayed" answer. Overall satisfied with the process and enjoyed the hat and magazine.

Mine was back in 4 or 5 days although I was not home and didn't get it until after the weekend. Overall I was impressed with Ruger customer service. My gun was repaired, cleaned up, hand a new hold open switch installed and I got a free mag and a Ruger LCP hat.
