Hey everyone. I'm looking for a good range in the Philly area. Indoor and outdoor. I would like a nice outdoor one for the spring. Possibly somewhere a little more relaxed. I live in northeast Philly which is 2 minutes from NJ but I refuse to go there to shoot. I'll just be shooting my 9mm pistols but I would also like a place where I can shoot pretty much anything I want. If they rent guns thats a bonus! Thanks!

I don't know about outdoor ranges.

I've been to exactly ONE indoor range in the Philly area so I'm not saying it's the best or worst, only that it exists :)

I'm a new shooter, and female, and they've always treat me well whenever I go there.

They have rentals. If you rent, you have to buy their ammo. I'm told their ammo prices are reasonable, but I've never purchased any there, so I can't say from experience.

If you shoot your own gun, you can use your own ammo, with some restrictions. If you decide to go, call first to see if what you have is allowed.

There is a old school pistol range called "Pistol People" and they are a great place to plink. Not very modern, small and noisy, but it's a safe, fun place to shoot. There is also a more modern indoor in Southampton PA called Classic Pistol but they are a tad pricey.

Targetmaster looks amazing. Thats where I want to go but its a bit of a hike. But I will definitely be going there sometime. I'll check out Pistol People too. Old small ranges are usually the best ones. Thanks.
