Bruce Willis? Really?

Bruce is actually very pro gun and pro military. After 9/11 he actually tried to join the military. I can't remember which branch, but I remember seeing this on a documentary.

Eva Longoria also supported Kerry in 2004. So I guess we could call her a hot Fudd. It seems those in Hollywood believe it is their right to protect themselves from the great unwashed masses, but are against us owing firearms.

Two that I believe are that I havent seen mentioned.

Mike Chicklis (sp)- The dude from the commish and Vic Mackey from the shield. On the commentaries from the first season he recalls memories of his dad teaching him about gun safety and the power of firearms by having Mike shoot a watermelon with a shotgun. The whole story and context painted Chicklis as pro-gun.

Zack Snyder- Director of "300" and "Dawn of the Dead" remake. Just listen to the DOTD commentary and you can tell this guy knows his stuff.

Ian Fleming was definitly Not ProGun.

How do you know this and where did you find this, information, out?

I thought that he was, considering his service in the Royal Navy and in the secret service.

Also he was presented with some handguns, one being a Colt Python,an excellent and very generous present.

Some of Historys infamous criminals, Despots and Tyrants:

Osama Bin Laden.His AK74 carbine.

Saddam Hussein.His HI-Power 9mm.

Adolf Hitler.His gold-plated Walther PPKs

General Franco

General Mushareef(Pakistani President.)

Fidel Castro

Manuel Noriaga. He liked his Colt 1911A1.

The Kray brothers.Mauser HSC and Luger P08,9mms

The Richardson gang: Their sawed-off shotguns.

Al Capone
The last two,you can decide for yourself,if they were famous celebs of infamous celebs.

King George The 3rd (Only to Americans.)People think that he was not that harmful,in the Uk-really,they do.

Oliver Cromwell. A former Suffolk County farmer,he did like the use of the gun, apparently, but was he a true evil tyrant or not,Like the king before? Its hard to tell or to accept.

Just because an actor plays a part where they sound pro-gun, don't believe they necessarily are. Remember, their job is to convince you they are someone else. The lines in TV shows and movies are written by screen writers, not the actor's themselves.

Lou Ferigno (the hulK) had an article or picture in GUNS with a Beretta 3032 Tomcat

Val Kilmer

Wachowski brothers (saw a clip of then with a ____ grin shooting a real MP5K)

John Milius - director of Red Dawn

:what: Yee Gods......I was with a group of guys the other night that were talking about Rosie O'Donnell and the fact (I have no idea if it is fact) that she has several armed body guards! Imagine that! Maybe we should add her name to the list lol lol............:D :fire:  :D

Someone mentioned JFK's old room mate, Robert Stack in a long list. That's very true. In 35 years of dealing with celebs, he was one of the strongest advocates of RKBA I had the pleasure of talking with. Very much the sportsman as well.

He was scheduled to be in studio for a live, early morning outdoor show. We got to talking and didn't stop til the Producer gave him the "you're on" sign! Great guy..big gun fan. Self loader, too.

Alexander Haig was a staunch advocate. Everyone else asked him about Water Gate..we talked guns!

Louis L'Amour, Gen. Joe Foss (of course), Heston (naturally), Earl Holliman told me he, Dennis Hopper and James Dean spent a good deal of time plinking when shooting "Giant." I was lucky to have met some great people during a long b'cast career..many very Pro RKBA.

I only wish more would use their celebrity status to champion our cause. I fear many are leery of negative press from that Liberal Bastion..The Fifth Estate.

I seem to recall hearing Kurt Russel talking about guns he owned on some talk show, and how some of his hollywood friends were against it.Then he said after the LA riots some of those same "friends" asked to borrow some of his guns.He said"sorry they're all being used.":D

seattle rapper "Sir Mix-a-Lot" of "baby got back " fame has a couple of pro second-amendment songs, notably "no holds barred"

Someone recently posted about Metallica's lead singer. I don't know if that is true or not, but I'd like to see some more on that.

I think John Popper is a gun guy though.

I think some folks here are confusing "Pro-gun" with gun owners, hunters (fudds) and people who have used guns, whether on their own, or in their writing/films.

R Lee Ermey has been mentioned. I believe he's a Glock spokesman. I remember seeing a video where he talked about getting every model of Glock to test so he could speak on them. He complained about the 15 day waiting period in CA, and quipping that if he wanted to kill someone, he wouldn't need a brand new Glock to do it, he'd use one of his other 30 handguns.

Good guy. I'd love to have a beer with him (after we finish the range trip and the gun cleaning party)

ETA, here's the vid, part 3 of a 5-part series.

ColinthePilot... good point.

I'm sure there are a lot of gun owners and hunters amongst the celebs.
But I'd imagine that many are not the true RKBA, "from my cold dead hands" type of American.

Well... Uncle Ted sure is.:D

Whoopi!

Credit where credit is due.

I've heard Whoopi Goldberg say she "owns guns" (I cannot recall if she said 'handguns' or just 'guns'). While I often disagree with her, she is not dumb, not a hypocrite. So I'd speculate she supports it for all of us, probably with some 'reasonable' restrictions.

Has anyone mentioned Charley Sheen?

HAHA, if he is, I'll bet his Dad just Looooves that!!!

gdw, I heard Whoopi Goldberg say that also, a few weeks ago when she was on The O'Reilly Factor.

Folks, don't mistaken a person for being pro-gun because they own guns. It doesn't mean they believe in RKBA for everyone, especially with some of the "Hollywood elite"
