Not so fast there, friend! Something aint right.

Why is my BS meter pegged?
TGSCOM is very excited to announce:

That NFA laws have been repealed through a long standing court battle in the 7th US Circuit Court. The president of TGSCOM had sued the federal government on the grounds that the NFA law violated the Second Amendment of the Constitution. After heated and lengthy oral arguments, TGSCOM is now able to sell fully automatic weapons to the general public without tax stamps and the additional background check. The one stipulation to the agreement is that fully automatic rifles will be treated like handguns in that they will require a purchaser of 21 and older, the firearm must be transferred in the state of their residence (same as handguns) and that the buyer must submit to all regulations in the state of their residence.

What this means for you:

We will now be adding a limited number of fully automatic firearms to our inventory. They will be sold on a first come first served basis. The benefit is that not only can you own them, but they do not have the $20,000 price tag they normally do.

California residents:

Since this ruling is so new, there are no restrictions for California residents. Bet on the fact that they will be up to speed very quickly with reducing your Constitutional rights so take full advantage while you can!

Anything this big at the Circuit Court of Appeals level would be all over the news. And the .gov would be fighting its way to the Supreme Court to get an appeal on record. How come I have not heard of it?

Just call me skeptical, OK?

stay safe.

Yeah. I didn't even think of April Fools Day, but I was just reading the same e-mail saying out loud:

"What? Uh. Right... Circuit Court and we're done and you're selling 'em already? Nope... Probably would have heard about this one. *%&$^ idiots..."

Good try.

Oh no.. it's April 1st.. I better just hide in my basement for the whole day so I don't have to deal with the agony of such jokes.

Do you think it was an April Fools Joke? It arrived in my email Inbox at 1:39am 4/1/2009

How about the Monster Energy drink for shooters listed on the page?? Improve your scores with extra caffeine... yeah!

Ok, so why was I able to add one to my cart and check out?

Ditto.

Did you also select the expedited overnight shipping on the checkout page? I did. It's a bit expensive, especially for the amount I ordered, but I want to get mine delivered before this is overturned.

Ok April Fools aside, FA weapons have always been legal. Once you do all the paper work, pay your tax and wait for the background check it is perfectly legal to own a FA weapon.

I've been restraining myself all morning from saying that!

Anyway, I just ordered the G18!:neener:

Dang, after i read the title i was about to call my FFL and have him order me a full auto AR lower, and a M249 SAW. Then a P90. You cruel, cruel person.

That looks like an awful lot of trouble for a joke, it has all of the footnotes on all of the weapons along with the auto specs, if it's a joke, someone spent a heck of a lot of time on it, any news we missed? like when they passed that open carry law for 3 days a couple decades ago?
