This is going to be tough for me, as there are so many cool guns. Many are fake, but even more are real guns, or made from real guns. Star wars had blasters made from Broomhandles, and the stormtroopers had FG42's or something like that(correct me if I'm wrong). Blade Runners gun was a REAL sophisticated mockup, including revolver and rifle parts blended into a one-of-a-kind futuristic weapon, etc. Personally, if I could only have one gun from all the movies I have seen, I think I'd go with Bogey's .32 or .380 from Casablanca, just because it's my alltime favorite movie, and the Colt from Bogey's hands would be such a piece of cinematic history. "Yeah, that's Bogart's gun from Casablanca on the wall there....".

i'd say....the noisy cricket... who needs a Kel Tec of LCP when you've got that...:D

Since I was a kid, I always thought the Sandmen pistol from Logan's Run was pretty cool...That, and the weapon that Moonbase Alpha's crew used in Space: 1999.

Oh, crap...I just dated myself.

My wife's favorite gun is Robert Duvall's "scatter gun" in Open Range, especially when he shoots a guy through a shed in the shoot out in town. What a wife!

Any of the guns the marines had in aliens. Bill Paxton was awesome in that movie.

My favorite movie gun is the take down rifle that can shoot paintballs from 200 yards away in "The Professional."

You'd never even see me on a paintball filed because I'd be sniping from the trees. You may have 300 rounds but range is where it's at.

Game, set, & match to alemonkey, but I gotta give honorable mentions to the 5.56 minigun in Predator, the 7.62 miniguns in We Were Soldiers, Ahhhhnold's railgun in Eraser, Ned's Spencer rifle in Unforgiven, Private Jackson's 1903 in Saving Private Ryan, Vasily Zeitsev's scoped Mosin-Nagant in Enemy at The Gates (and the Major's 98K), Bruce Willis's suppressed Mark 23 soccom pistol in Tears of the Sun, the double gold 1911s in Faceoff, the 1911s and HK91 (I think it was) in Way of the Gun, pretty much all of the guns in Shooter and Heat, and of course Bond's PPK and Dirty Harry's model 29. I'm sure I'm forgetting quite a few.

Hellboy's Revolver

I never even saw the movies, but in the trailers that giant revolver is just too cool!

I love the attention to detail in that scene...how often do they show someone using dual set triggers in a movie. And he even blows down the breech at the end. I love it!

Yep, Those guns used in the movie are awesome firearms. I own a Shiloh but not a Quigley. They are works of art. Some of the best firearms made.

Anybody can get a Sharps like Quigley used. They are not cheap but they will make you one.

The guns in Aliens were pretty sweet. Something like a 100rd mag with a grenade launcher mounted on them.
I also like Wesley Snipes' sidearm in the Blade series. I think it was built on a Mac.

Wasn't the bad guy's gun in that movie a gyrojet (that was steered by his mind) or some variant thereof?
You can't leave out the mare's leg from Serenity!

In the sequel they have an even bigger weapon for him, a grenade launcher named "Big Baby".

The guns in ALIENS were actually fairly extensively modified M1A1 Thompsons.

Not a "movie," but I always prefered the 1928A1 Thompson carried by Vic Morrow in the TV series "COMBAT!"

"Blackhawk Down" tells it like it is . . .

American soldiers go where angels fear to tread, yet what else is new? If not Americans, then who? America has always guarded the third world against torturing monsters. Although torture seems the way of life in too many third world countries. Should Americans give up their weapons to become just another third world country? I think NOT! cliffy

I really like Al Pacino's blued, ivory-gripped Colt M1991A1 Series 80 Officers ACP in "Heat".

Press check, seconds before raiding an apartment, I just hope he cocks it before the guy with the shotgun breaches the door (although he does replace the first couple of rounds with slugs):

I also like his FNC 90 in the same film. He's a rogue cop who makes his own rules through the movie, so it's a good fit for his character:

These probably aren't my favorite "movie guns" ever, but it's probably my favorite "gun movie" ever, plus I saw it again today, so it's been on my mind. :)

American Allies:

Australia, England, Israel, and Canada. Who else will step forward? PLEASE add your country to this list. The United Nations are a local joke per say. Individually, please add your country of committed aid: cliffy
