My local shop has a used P-220 for $245. Looks like the top of the ejection port is discolored.

Good Price? Anyone own a 220 and have a comment on the handling? Pluses/minuses?

Thanks.

Never seen a Sig that low either. Its not some guy selling it on the street next to his colection of fake rolex's is it?

At that price it is worth getting a good gunsmith to do a thorough inspection. If it is in even reasonable shape, it is a good deal.

wow yah, unless there was visible frame damage of the non cosmetic type and action seemed decent, i'd be scrambling for my wallet.

i bought one for 275.00

coupla yrs ago.

police trade in thought i had really got something.

i hated it hated it, traded it for a springfield loaded 1911

happy oh happy day,,

It will be gone on Monday? Why not check it out, and if you haven't, ask for the story behind it. Tempting...:D

A cracked frame would be relatively easy to spot, since the black anodizing would be broken along the crack.

I wonder if the slide cracked and was rewelded and reblued (hence the discoloration)?

If it passes visual inspection and the shop gives you a good story as to why it's so cheap, I'd buy it without reservation. That's $200 LESS than normal price for even the most shot-out West German unit in mny area.

If it were still there and the gunsmith said it was OK I would definately stretch the plastic for it provided it was not hot or anything of that nature.

Even if something were wrong with it I'm sure Sig would take care of you.

Do you live in a town with a lot of lay-offs? Perhaps seller is desperate?
