krs, I love that Colt! I have absolutely no need for one, but there is just something sexy as hell about those and the Baby Browning .25's. I feel the same way about the Colt 1903s and 1908s as well. I will own one of each someday!

As to the OP, this is not my only semi, but by far my favorite. DW CBOB. I absolutely love this pistol.



Feeds anything I've tried, and break-in was nonexistent. 100% reliability from day one up to date. Accurate as hell, too.

never had a hang up or missfire from any of these ? the taurus fires mag aftre mag until its hot enough to light a cigarette off of and the sub2k spits 9mm wads out 33 rnd mag after another - the high point is a cheapy , but has never failed me either and shoots straight too .

Model 1902 Colt .38 ACP, 'Sporting' Model

A number of years ago I decided to try a parts gun to see if I could improve upon a stock factory 1911 commander.

Although it was a fairly decent pistol, it was in no way as fine of a 1911 as I found produced by the high-end makers. Nevertheless, it was reliable and accurate.

When I sold it, I made a substantial profit.
