Are the .32's from Kel Tec lefty friendly? It looks like they have a mag release that could be reversed from the left to the right side. X

I would not bother changing it over, I just use my trigger or middle finger to depress the mag release. I even have the mag release ground down quite a bit because in my pocket holster it tends to accidentally release otherwise. I actually prefer a heel clip release, it is truly ambidextrous and I am not usually that concerned about lightning fast reloads if I am down to the keltec. Otherwise everything else about the p32 is fairly lefty/righty neutral. They even offer their belt clip for either side.

I'm a lefty and I carry my P32 all the time. I also reduced the size of my mag release. It goes well in my back or front pocket. I agree that KelTec missed the boat by not having a heal release.

So how much material did you remove from the mag release? I don't wanna remove to much. Thanks, X

you are sooo cool!

As to the other question I just took the handy dremel with a drum and ground it down about half way. Personally I think I could have ground it flush and just hit it with a fingernail, but halfway seemed to keep it from accidentally activating. Especially being left hand, the mag release on a service pistol is facing outside when holstered, and some holsters actually cover the mag release so I have never wanted an extended one. I have always thought using the middle finger was an advantage, I do not have to shift my grip as much as when using a thumb. Works out that way for the slide release as well.

I'm right-handed but shoot with each hand and would say one of the KT's advantages is that it's ambidextrous. I believe a shooter should be able to shoot one-handed with either hand because when it really counts you may not still have two hands.

FMOfartO:

I wouldn't be worrying too much about the necessity of a "mag change" for your mousegun in a crisis.... Basically all of these mouseguns are "close up and personal" firearms and even if you wanted to change out mags in a time of personal confrontation you wouldn't have the time.

Just get a Seecamp LWS32 and forget it. ;)

Problem solved, and you'll be the owner of what I personally consider the finest mousegun in the world. Somebody must agree with me because the wait time for a newly ordered LWS32 is roughly 4-6 mo. and for the LWS380 18-24 mo.

I have both the LWS32 and LWS380, and love 'em.

I'm a lefty... ;)

Just personal opinion, no offense to folks who disagree.

Best Wishes,

Jesse
