Within the last 6 months, I've tried W231, Titegroup, Win Supertarget (WST), Win SuperField (WSF), Ramshot Zip, and Hodgdon's Clays. All with .45 200 gr cast SWC.tactikel said:+1 on Bullseye being dirty. I like Tightgroup 4.5 gr with a 230 gr. It cycles my XD-45 perfectly, is clean, accurate, and economical. My buddy swears by Clays for 200 gr SWC target loads -claims it is super clean, and superbly accurate (he shoots IPSA), I have yet to try it myself.
The Titegroup is the lowest cost per 100 rounds. The Clays isn't far behind.
So far, I am sticking with Clays. Burns clean, is accurate, smooth recoil, and I still have about 10 lbs left to use.
