I believe it is to an FFL and he keeps them on file from all over the country. I have not used them yet, but will on my next purchase as they are down the road. I hear good things though......

Buds is probably one of the largest online retailers of firearms. I've ordered from them online and at gunshows. They have very reasonable prices and have always been very good to deal with. They are also members of this forum. All guns must go through a licensed dealer.

My experience with them has been very good. They were very willing to answer my questions over the phone. I'll do business with them again if they have something I can't find at my local shops.

I have used Bud's and would do so again without reservation. Very good to deal with.

They ship to your FFL and, as was mentioned, have many on file. Check their site for a listing.

I bought some parts from there. I think it's a fairly small operation. It took a while to get the parts in.

As long as SOMEBODY before you has ordered a gun and had it shipped to your FFL, Bud's should have a copy of that FFL's license on file.

All you do is search (by state, I think) for the FFL you want the gun shipped to, click it, and continue just as you would buying anything else online. I think Bud's also allows (or requires) cheap shipping insurance on a gun, which is well worth it.

most competitive pricing on the internet, very smooth transactions (as mentioned, they have a ton of FFL's already on file by state/locale), bud's credit financing available, classifieds online for used gun buys/trades between members, buy-back and trade-in options for guns in their inventory. Solid operation, no problems in my dealings with them (guns or accessories). Will continue to buy from there, as the need/impulse arises, though I prefer to buy from local gunshops if possible (support local economy).

How does this work? Do these ship to your door ? or your FFL dealer??

5. Can you ship my firearm direct to me at my home or office ?

No, all firearms must be shipped to a verified FFL (Federal Firearm License) holder. The only exceptions are some black powder firearms, and then only to approved states.

Is this a safe company to deal with?

Absolutely. As you can see, many of us have done business with Bud's, and will continue to do so.

Looking for under $230 shotgun and non stores have what I am looking for

Here are the results I received when I searched items in the 'shotgun' category, under $230.

I'll second the above opinions. I've bought three guns from Bud's (including a 1911 that I'm waiting to have delivered right now) and have been incredibly happy with their service each time.

yes, i've used them. had a dan wesson CBOB shipped to my local FFL. price was very competitive. the only ones i found a little lower were from gunbroker sellers that seemed to have a few flags to me. buds has a good track record from everything i've ever read, so i figured it was worth the $20 to deal with a vendor i felt more comfortable with.

you'll not likely be disappointed.

Bud's

Wow! That's a trip...I didn't realize they were a huge online dealer. Their shop is about half an hour away from me. I've used them as my FFL dealer and had stuff shipped to them. Also bought ammo/shot at their indoor range. They're great to work with.

I've done business with Bud since he was on Industry Road in Lexington. That has been 20 years ago or more. I've bought many guns from him and always have been treated fair and square. One of the reasons his prices are so reasonable is he deals in volume. If he finds a good deal on a gun, he'll buy all the wholesaler has and only try to make a few dollars profit on each one instead of buying a few guns and trying to get rich on each sale. You never know what he'll have when you walk in the door. The real test of a business is if you would deal with them again. Bud's has been and continues to be my first choice in gun shops.

+1 Great Prices, super fast ship, easy to deal with.

I got a rem 700 from them just a bit ago.

I have bought two guns and great prices and smooth transactions. When you eliminate the taxes it hard to not use them.

i bought 2 rifles from them. my second purchase was a weatherby accumark in 30-06 for about 975.00,& i took out their 1 year no interest credit card. i sent about a hundred a month for 10 months. i was at the range shooting the rifle after a got it & had yet to pay a cent for it. that was a real great deal!:)

I have purchased 2 rifles and a pistol as well as many small parts. They will go the extra distance for you. I wish they were closer to me for I would make that trip whenever the need was there.

+1 , I made only one transaction with Buds, but the price was great and the service was as well. If they have something you like and the price is really good, DO IT !!!! You will be very happy.

Gosh guys....you really gotta stop now.....or my head won't fit through the door tomorrow !
Seriously, thanks for all the kind words....everyone here really appreciates it.
