...sub 3" groups at 25 yards from a bench are almost a guarantee with mine...

LOL, LB, WC, EB and NH all give a 1" on 50 yards warranty!
SIGARMS 1911 have the worst spread in quality you can find on the market.
They can be really nice or a grip in the toilet!
So before you spend a dime, check the gun real careful!

I have a Baer Monolith with the 2.5" at 50 yard guarantee, which it may be able to do from a Ransom or with optics mounted ... but irons from a bag, good luck.

I don't know anybody that guarantees 1" at 50 yards, 1.5" from Baer is the smallest I know of. And I don't know anybody that guarantees close to that with a Commander.

I don't believe that at all ... but trashing Sig is the hip new thing, all the kids are doing it.

the best from the LB, WC, and EB

1.5" @ 50yrds for Brown & Baer.
1" @ 25yrds for Wilson 5"
1.5" @ 25yrds for Wilson Commander

these are for 5" barrels, so the commander size will open up a bit

'nother vote for the DW CBOB, mine has been flawless and it's hard to beat what you get for the money.

Another vote for the Ed Brown Kobra Carry. I dont' have one. I have a SA Loaded Champion SS, but that Kobra is one sweet looking pistol.

From the top 1911 I favor the WC or NH.
What I don't like on EB is, that they only offer green/green night sites.
At a price of a EB the customer should be able to have this option!

Seems a bit unfair that the most recommended gun in this thread does not have a picture.. ;)

The S&W is no slouch but the BOB is better :D
